Well, it's been over six months now since the hand injury and surgery. I am starting to book shows again and enjoying being back out there. While waylaid, I did enjoy getting to go and support my friends playing gigs and see some great ticketed shows - a rarity for working musicians! Esperanza Spalding with Fred Hersch, Joshua Redman, Sunny War, and Christian McBride to name a few of the ticketed shows I got to see. Incredible!
The new Reckless Sophistication CD's are now accompanied by the LP counterparts at Plan 9 Records in Richmond, VA and Shangri-La Records in Memphis, TN. It's been getting generous airplay in Richmond and Memphis, as well as Norman, OK and Florence, Italy!
